Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Leak Reveals Ultra-Thin Design and Larger Display. |
Samsung is once again making headlines with a new leak that showcases its upcoming foldable flagship — the Galaxy Z Fold 7. A video posted on the popular Korean tech YouTube channel TheSINZA gives us a first look at the device’s physical mockup, and it’s already sparking excitement in the tech world.
Galaxy Z Fold 7: Samsung’s Thinnest Foldable Yet?
Based on the video, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 appears incredibly slim. When unfolded, the device measures just 4.5 mm thick — only slightly thicker than the Oppo Find N5, currently the world’s thinnest foldable phone at 4.2 mm. When folded, its dimensions are comparable to the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, making it feel familiar in the hand.
Compared to Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Fold SE
The video also includes size comparisons between the Galaxy Z Fold 7, the Galaxy Z Fold 6, and the more affordable Galaxy Z Fold SE. Among the three, the Fold 7 stands out as the slimmest and sleekest. While the Fold 7 features a slightly larger screen than the Fold 6, it maintains the same aspect ratio, ensuring a consistent viewing experience.
Official Launch Date Confirmed
Samsung is expected to officially unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 7 during its Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9. The presentation is scheduled to begin at 5:00 PM Moscow time, which is 10:00 AM Eastern Time. In addition to the Fold 7, several other new Samsung devices are expected to be announced during the event.
With its ultra-thin profile and expanded display, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is shaping up to be one of Samsung’s most impressive foldables to date. If you’re a fan of cutting-edge mobile tech, this could be the foldable worth waiting for.
