1,220 PPPK Civil Servants Officially Inaugurated by West Kalimantan Governor, Integrity and Public Service Emphasized. |
Pontianak, Indonesia — A total of 1,220 Government Contract Civil Servants (PPPK ASN) were officially inaugurated by West Kalimantan Governor Drs. Ria Norsan, MM, MH on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at the West Kalimantan Governor's Office Integrated Building. The inauguration marked the first phase of the 2024 appointment batch.
During his speech, Governor Norsan explained that the second phase of appointments is still in administrative processing and will proceed to inauguration once completed.
“The second phase is still being processed administratively. Once that’s done, we’ll move forward with the inauguration,” he stated.
He also reminded the newly appointed civil servants of their primary role as public servants, not just government employees.
“Serve the public well. We, as civil servants, are here to serve the people, and that’s our main duty,” he emphasized.
Firm Stance Against Violations
Governor Norsan firmly warned that two violations would not be tolerated within the provincial civil service: drug abuse and immoral behavior.
“Let me be clear—there will be no tolerance for drug-related offenses or moral misconduct among our civil servants,” he declared.
Gratitude and Future Aspirations
One of the newly appointed civil servants, Ade Septian from the Youth, Sports, and Tourism Office (Disporapar Kalbar), expressed his happiness and appreciation.
“I’m truly grateful to the Governor and all supporting departments. This is a proud moment for me,” he said.
Ade added that he is excited to bring renewed enthusiasm and new innovations into upcoming work programs.
The inauguration of these 1,220 civil servants is expected to strengthen public service delivery and promote professionalism across the West Kalimantan Provincial Government.
