Samsung is gearing up for one of its most exciting product launches yet. According to reliable insider Setsuna Digital, the tech giant will introduce its first-ever triple-folding smartphone, rumored to be called Galaxy G Fold, during the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9, 2025. The highly anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 will also debut at the same event, but unlike those models, the G Fold will hit the shelves later in October.

The concept of a triple-fold device has been circulating for a while, but this is the first time we’re seeing concrete signs of its arrival. What makes this gadget a potential game-changer isn’t just its folding mechanism, but how it blends the tablet and smartphone experience into one sleek package.

Triple the Fold, Triple the Innovation

Unlike the traditional single-fold smartphones, the rumored Galaxy G Fold will feature two internal hinges, allowing the device to fold inwards from both sides. Fully unfolded, the display is expected to measure 9.96 inches, slightly smaller than the 10.2-inch display found in Huawei’s triple-fold rival.

This innovative form factor doesn’t just scream futuristic design—it also provides better screen protection by enclosing the foldable panel entirely when closed. And there’s more: leaks hint at S Pen support and even a dedicated stylus slot, suggesting Samsung wants to create a device that feels like a proper hybrid between a phone, tablet, and digital notebook.

A Big Leap, but a Small Charger?

While the design might turn heads, some specs could raise eyebrows. The Galaxy G Fold is rumored to support just 25W wired charging, which is a big step down compared to Huawei’s Mate XT (66W) or even Samsung’s own mid-tier phones. Still, Samsung may compensate with battery optimization or new power-saving features.

Premium Design, Premium Price

Early reports suggest the Galaxy G Fold will be released exclusively in China and South Korea at first, with no confirmation yet for a global rollout. As for the price, experts estimate it will cost between $3,000 and $3,500, putting it firmly in the ultra-premium category.

This pricing aligns with the cutting-edge technology and niche appeal of the device, likely targeting tech enthusiasts, creators, and early adopters who are always on the hunt for the next big thing in mobile innovation.

Galaxy Z Fold 7: Slimmer Than Ever

Meanwhile, Samsung has already started teasing the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which may steal the spotlight for being the slimmest foldable phone to date. In a promotional email sent to customers, Samsung quoted YouTuber Parker Burton, who reportedly tested the device: “It’s insanely thin. When you fold it, it feels like a regular phone.”

This aligns with ongoing efforts by Samsung to make foldables more mainstream, and part of that strategy clearly involves making them lighter, thinner, and more pocket-friendly.

Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event could mark a major turning point for foldable tech. With the introduction of a triple-fold smartphone and an ultra-slim Galaxy Z Fold 7, the company is pushing boundaries in both design and functionality. While the G Fold may not be for everyone—especially given its price tag and limited availability—it signals a bold future where phones can do more, fold more, and replace more devices in our lives.
