Photos and detailed specifications of the upcoming OnePlus 15 have surfaced online just days before its official debut on October 13. The leak, which originated from Weibo, reveals almost everything about the flagship phone, including its display, camera setup, battery, and powerful performance features that could make it one of the top flagship contenders of 2025.

According to the leaked information, the OnePlus 15 will feature a 6.78-inch BOE X3 AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and LTPO technology. The screen supports a dynamic refresh rate ranging from 1 to 165 Hz, along with Dolby Vision and Pro XDR, reaching a peak brightness of up to 1,800 nits. The design includes ultra-thin bezels and an elegant body that will reportedly come in three color options: purple, titanium, and black.

Under the hood, the OnePlus 15 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. The phone will come in multiple configurations, including 12/256 GB, 12/512 GB, 16/256 GB, 16/512 GB, and a top-tier 16 GB/1 TB variant. It will also feature Wind Chi Game Kernel 2.0, a gaming optimization system designed to boost stability and performance during heavy gameplay.

In the camera department, the OnePlus 15 will pack a triple 50 MP rear setup. The main sensor is the Sony LYT-700 (24 mm, f/1.8) with optical image stabilization, while the other two are Samsung ISOCELL JN5 sensors — one for the ultra-wide lens (15 mm, f/2.0, 0.6x zoom) and another for the telephoto lens (85 mm, f/2.8, 3.5x optical zoom). This combination is expected to deliver high-quality shots across different shooting scenarios, from wide landscapes to detailed zoom photography.

One of the most impressive highlights of the leak is the massive 7,300 mAh battery. It supports 120 W wired fast charging and 50 W wireless charging, promising long battery life with quick top-ups. Additional features include stereo speakers, a powerful haptic motor, improved screen touch response even with wet hands, an under-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, a new cooling system, multifunctional NFC, an IR blaster, and a USB Type-C 3.1 Gen1 port offering transfer speeds up to 5 Gbps.

Although pricing details remain undisclosed, analysts believe the OnePlus 15 will compete directly with other flagship models such as the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. Interestingly, this could mark the first time OnePlus launches a new model simultaneously in both China and global markets.

With such comprehensive leaks, excitement around the OnePlus 15 is growing rapidly. Fans are eager to see if the company can reclaim its “flagship killer” status by offering top-tier performance and premium features at a competitive price. All eyes are now on October 13, when OnePlus is expected to officially confirm the leaked specifications and reveal its pricing strategy.

Apple Delays Cheaper Vision Pro to Focus on Smart Glasses, First Model Coming in 2026

Apple has reportedly postponed the release of a lighter and more affordable version of its Vision Pro headset to focus on developing smart glasses instead. According to a Bloomberg report, the Cupertino-based tech giant has shifted its priorities, transferring part of the Vision Pro team to work on the new smart eyewear project.

Initially, Apple planned to launch the budget-friendly Vision Pro model in 2027. However, that timeline has changed as the company redirects its efforts toward two versions of smart glasses currently in development. The first model — which won’t include a display — could be unveiled as early as next year, with sales starting in 2027. The second version, featuring a built-in screen inside the lenses, was originally scheduled for 2028 but is now being fast-tracked.

Sources familiar with the project told Bloomberg that both variants will include integrated speakers, cameras, and voice controls powered by artificial intelligence (AI). Apple is also reportedly developing a dedicated chip designed specifically for these smart glasses. The design will come in several styles, similar to Meta’s smart glasses line, which is produced in collaboration with Ray-Ban and Oakley.

If true, this marks a major strategic shift for Apple’s augmented reality (AR) ambitions. So far, the company has focused on the high-end Vision Pro — a premium mixed-reality headset priced at thousands of dollars and targeted at professionals and creators. With smart glasses, however, Apple appears to be aiming for a wider audience, offering a more lightweight and casual approach to AR technology.

For comparison, Meta recently launched the next generation of its Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, featuring longer battery life, sport editions developed with Oakley, and a new Ray-Ban Display model with a screen embedded in the right lens. With this growing competition, Apple seems determined not to fall behind in the emerging smart glasses race — even if it arrives later than its rivals.

Meanwhile, Apple is still preparing a minor update to the original Vision Pro. Regulatory filings suggest that an upgraded model with improved performance and power efficiency — but no major design changes — could debut as early as late this year. Bloomberg described it as a “modest refresh,” rather than a full redesign.

With this shift in focus, Apple appears to be restructuring its mixed-reality roadmap. Smart glasses could serve as the bridge to a new generation of wearable AI devices — lighter, more practical, and seamlessly integrated into the Apple ecosystem alongside iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods.

If successful, Apple could become a major player in the smart glasses market, which is currently led by Meta, Xreal, and Snap. But as always, Apple is known for taking its time to perfect new products — meaning fans may need to wait a few more years before they can finally experience “Apple Glasses” in action.

DJI, the well-known drone manufacturer from China, officially unveiled its first-ever robot vacuum series called Romo on Friday (Aug 9). The lineup includes three models — ROMO P, ROMO A, and ROMO S — featuring advanced obstacle-avoidance technology adapted from DJI’s drone perception systems. This innovation allows the robots to clean with millimeter precision, even in hard-to-reach areas.

The flagship ROMO P stands out with its transparent base and body accents, letting users see the internal components in action. It’s equipped with a high-pressure jet self-cleaning system that can maintain itself for up to 200 days without manual intervention. Its suction power reaches 25,000 Pa, powered by a nine-blade motor and optimized airflow design. When detecting fine debris such as cat litter, ROMO P automatically slows its movement and side brush rotation to prevent scattering and improve pickup efficiency.

For mopping, Romo features two rotating mop pads, a 164 ml water tank, and dedicated compartments for cleaning solutions and disinfectants. Users can schedule specific cleaning tasks, such as removing kitchen grease with a gel cleaner or performing antibacterial cleaning in targeted areas. Navigation relies on a fish-eye sensor and three wide-angle lidars, paired with machine learning algorithms capable of detecting objects as thin as 2 mm cables. DJI claims the robot leaves no “dead zones” during operation.

Other features include smart carpet cleaning, voice control, video call support, and 55W fast charging that fully powers the device in just 2.5 hours. DJI has priced the ROMO P at 6,799 yuan (about $935), ROMO A at 5,399 yuan (about $743), and ROMO S at 4,699 yuan (about $646). The main differences lie in the transparent design and the presence of disinfectant cleaning functions, while core technical specifications remain the same across all models.

With Romo, DJI is making its first move into the increasingly competitive smart home market, going head-to-head with brands like Roborock and Ecovacs. Market analysts predict its drone-inspired navigation system could be a game-changer, setting a new trend for transparent designs in smart home appliances. Global sales are expected to begin in late 2025, starting in China before expanding to Europe and Southeast Asia.
