Misi Bersejarah! Zond Jepang Resilience Siap Mendarat di Bulan, Tampilkan Video dari Ketinggian 100 Km.

JAKARTA -- Halo sobat luar angkasa! Dunia antariksa lagi ramai banget nih. Nama misinya?

Misi Kedua, Tekad Lebih Kuat

Gimana Kalau Gagal Lagi?

Tenang, mereka udah siapin rencana cadangan. Kalau kondisi di tempat utama nggak mendukung, mereka masih punya dua titik alternatif untuk mendarat. Jadi, misi ini tetap punya peluang sukses walau rintangannya cukup besar.

Ayo Saksikan Sejarah Terjadi!

Dua Fase Perluasan Alam Semesta Terjelaskan Secara Alami

  • Bagaimana gelapnya materi gelap terbentuk?

Waktu Untuk Melihat Alam Semesta Dari Perspektif Baru

Jadi, siapa tahu, Big Bang bukanlah awal segalanya.

Finally! WhatsApp to Add Username Option So You Can Chat Without Sharing Your Phone Number

Finally! WhatsApp to Add Username Option So You Can Chat Without Sharing Your Phone Number
Finally! WhatsApp to Add Username Option So You Can Chat Without Sharing Your Phone Number.

After years of only using phone numbers as the main way to connect, WhatsApp is finally working on a much-requested feature: usernames. This means soon, you’ll be able to chat on WhatsApp without revealing your real phone number—just like on Telegram and other messaging apps.

Yep, you read that right! The feature was recently spotted in the latest beta version of WhatsApp. Although it’s not available to testers yet, the app’s code clearly shows that WhatsApp is actively building this username system behind the scenes.

How Will WhatsApp Usernames Work?

Once this feature rolls out, you’ll be able to create a unique username to replace your phone number. So instead of giving someone your number, you can simply share your username. It’s a huge win for privacy-conscious users who still want to stay connected.

But don’t worry—it’s not going to be a free-for-all. There are a few rules you’ll need to follow when creating your username:

  • Usernames can’t start with “www.” This is to avoid confusion with website links.

  • Usernames must include at least one letter. You can’t use only numbers or symbols.

  • Only certain characters are allowed: lowercase letters (a–z), numbers (0–9), periods (.), and underscores (_).

Once you’ve set your username, WhatsApp will celebrate with a little confetti animation. From then on, your username will appear in chats and group conversations.

And if you ever decide to change it later, WhatsApp will send a system message to your contacts—just like when you update your profile photo or change your phone number.

When Is the Release Date?

Right now, the username feature is still in development, and there's no official launch date yet. Even beta testers can’t try it out at this point. But judging by the code changes, it seems WhatsApp is moving full steam ahead.

WhatsApp Also Launches Official App for iPad

In other exciting news, WhatsApp just released its official iPad app. After 15 years of waiting, iPad users finally get a dedicated WhatsApp experience optimized for larger screens.

With the upcoming WhatsApp username feature, users will have more control over their privacy and how they connect with others. It’s a major step that makes WhatsApp more flexible for both personal and professional use. Plus, the new iPad support shows that WhatsApp is serious about improving the user experience across devices.

Stunning Discovery! Giant Planet TOI-6894b Found Orbiting a Tiny Star, Leaving Scientists in Awe

Stunning Discovery! Giant Planet TOI-6894b Found Orbiting a Tiny Star, Leaving Scientists in Awe
Stunning Discovery! Giant Planet TOI-6894b Found Orbiting a Tiny Star, Leaving Scientists in Awe.

Hey folks, have you ever imagined that a tiny star — way smaller than our Sun — could host a giant planet? Well, get this: astronomers just found a massive gas planet called TOI-6894b orbiting a red dwarf star named TOI-6894, and it's blowing everyone’s minds.

Here’s the kicker — the star itself is only one-fifth the mass and size of the Sun, yet the planet circling it is almost as big as Saturn, with a radius about 86% that of Jupiter. This is totally unexpected based on what scientists thought they knew!

According to Edward Bryant, an astrophysicist from the University of Warwick who led the international research team, the discovery came as a complete surprise. “We didn’t think a star this small could possibly form such a large planet,” he said.

Usually, planets form from the leftover material that doesn’t get used up when a star is born. So, the smaller the star, the less material left for planet-making — or so we thought. But using NASA’s TESS space telescope, astronomers spotted deep transit dips in the star’s light, hinting at something big passing in front of it. That “something” turned out to be TOI-6894b, with a whopping diameter of around 120,000 km.

What’s really eye-catching is how much light this planet blocks when it crosses in front of its star — about 17% of the star’s light disappears. That’s huge! Most exoplanets cause only tiny dips in brightness. Even more interesting, the planet's mass is just 17% of Jupiter’s, which suggests its atmosphere is light, puffy, and possibly full of gases like methane.

Because of these rare characteristics, TOI-6894b is now a top candidate for atmospheric studies — including future observations with the James Webb Space Telescope. Scientists are eager to dig into its composition and see if it holds secrets about how such giants form.

Here’s the exciting part: this discovery challenges everything we thought we knew about how giant planets are born. If gas giants can form around such tiny stars, it might mean that our understanding of planetary systems — even our own Solar System — needs a serious update.

TOI-6894b isn’t just another planet — it’s a cosmic game-changer. The idea that a massive planet like this can exist around such a small star is opening up new possibilities in astronomy and planetary science. It reminds us that space is still full of surprises, and we’re just getting started in exploring them.

Want more cool space discoveries? Stay tuned — the universe definitely isn’t done amazing us yet.

Stunning Earth Views from Space: NASA Astronaut Shares Mesmerizing Timelapse from the ISS

Stunning Earth Views from Space: NASA Astronaut Shares Mesmerizing Timelapse from the ISS.

You Won’t Believe How Beautiful Earth Looks from Space!

NASA astronaut Johnny Kim recently wowed space fans by sharing his very first timelapse video, captured aboard the International Space Station (ISS). The 68-second clip reveals breathtaking scenes of Earth from approximately 250 miles (402 kilometers) above the surface.

So, what exactly can you see in this short yet stunning video? A lot! From the glowing lights of major cities at night, to vibrant auroras dancing in the atmosphere, and even mysterious green glows from fishing boats in Asia. The combination creates a surreal, almost magical vibe that’s hard to put into words.

Toward the end of the video, one of the ISS’s solar panels makes an appearance, adding a perfect final touch to this visual masterpiece. It feels more like a cosmic painting than a real-life view.

Johnny Kim: “It’s Like Fishing!”

Johnny Kim compared the experience of creating the timelapse to going fishing. "You prep the camera, choose the right angle, adjust the settings, mount it properly, set the timer... and then you wait, hoping for a good catch," he explained. And just like a proud fisherman, he said that after catching his first “big one,” he’s definitely hooked.

Not Just Videos – Photos from Space Are Equally Breathtaking

Before Kim’s timelapse, another NASA astronaut, Don Pettit, also made headlines for capturing one of the most mind-blowing space photos ever taken from the ISS. In just a single image, he managed to capture:

  • The Milky Way galaxy

  • Trails of Starlink satellites

  • A sky full of stars

  • The glowing edge of Earth’s atmosphere (hydroxyl glow)

  • City lights glowing beneath the clouds

It’s a powerful reminder of how awe-inspiring space can be—and how small we really are in the grand scheme of things.

The Night Sky Isn’t Just Dark—It’s Full of Wonder

These photos and videos from NASA astronauts offer more than just eye candy. They’re a reminder of the stunning beauty of our planet, and how seeing it from a different perspective—like from space—can completely change how we appreciate it.

If you're curious to see Johnny Kim’s timelapse, check out NASA’s official channels or his social media pages. Who knows? You might find yourself getting just as “hooked” as he did!

Asteroid 2024 YR4 Might Collide with the Moon, Says NASA

Asteroid 2024 YR4 Might Collide with the Moon, Says NASA
Asteroid 2024 YR4 Might Collide with the Moon, Says NASA.

A fascinating update from space: NASA recently revealed that the chances of asteroid 2024 YR4 colliding with the Moon have slightly increased. The potential impact is predicted to happen on December 22, 2032, although the risk remains very low.

Previously, this asteroid caught scientists’ attention for its potential threat to Earth. But now, researchers are focusing more on the possibility of it crashing into our natural satellite — the Moon.

Spotted by the James Webb Space Telescope

Even though the asteroid is extremely far from Earth, it briefly entered the view of the James Webb Space Telescope this past May. Using its near-infrared camera, a team led by Andy Rivkin from the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory tracked its movement and refined its projected path.

As a result, updated calculations show that the probability of the asteroid hitting the Moon has increased from 3.8% to 4.3%. While that’s technically a rise, it’s still a very small chance and not a cause for major concern.

Is Earth at Risk Too?

The short answer is: nope. Experts have made it clear that even if 2024 YR4 does collide with the Moon, it won’t affect the Moon’s orbit or cause any problems on Earth. If debris from the impact gets flung into space and somehow makes its way toward Earth, it would burn up in our atmosphere long before reaching the ground.

So, there's no real threat to our planet or its people. It's more of an interesting space event than anything dangerous.

How Big Is Asteroid 2024 YR4?

This asteroid was first discovered on December 27, 2024, and its estimated size is between 53 and 67 meters — about the height of a 10-story building. With a size like that, it’s no surprise it immediately grabbed the attention of astronomers, especially since it initially showed a collision probability with Earth above 1%, which is relatively high for large space rocks.

In astronomical terms, that's enough to place it on NASA’s radar for ongoing tracking.

Bottom Line: Stay Informed, But No Need to Panic

Even though the odds of 2024 YR4 hitting the Moon have ticked up a bit, there’s no reason to panic. NASA and astronomers around the world are continuously monitoring objects like this, making sure we stay ahead of any real risks.

For the rest of us, it’s a great reminder of how active and well-monitored our solar system is. Plus, if you're into space and science, this is a cool opportunity to learn more about asteroids and space surveillance.

And if you're wondering what would happen if an asteroid actually hits the Moon — don’t worry — the Moon’s not going anywhere.

Apple Confirms macOS Tahoe Will Be the Last Big Update for Intel Macs.

Big news from WWDC 2025! Apple has officially announced that macOS Tahoe will be the final major update for Mac and MacBook devices that still use Intel processors. This confirmation came directly from Matthew Firlik, Apple’s Senior Director of Developer Relations, during a keynote that also introduced the all-new “glass-style” iOS 26.

Apple Goes All-In on Apple Silicon

Apple’s transition away from Intel chips began in 2020 and was completed in 2023 with the release of the Mac Pro powered by Apple’s own silicon. Since then, all new Macs have been equipped with M-series chips—starting with M1, followed by M2, and now the latest M4.

With this move, Apple is fully committing to its own chip architecture, focusing on delivering the best possible performance and integration within its ecosystem.

What Does This Mean for Intel Mac Users?

Don’t worry just yet. If you’re still using an Intel-powered Mac—like the 2019 16-inch MacBook Pro—you can still install macOS Tahoe. Apple has confirmed that these devices will continue to receive security updates for the next three years, even if they won’t be eligible for future feature updates.

Lauren Klug, an Apple representative, reassured users that this transition will still keep existing devices safe and secure during the support period.

Devices Compatible with macOS Tahoe

Here’s the full list of Mac models that support macOS Tahoe:

Apple Launches watchOS 26 with Liquid Glass Design, Smart Voice Coach, and Notes App.

Apple has officially unveiled watchOS 26, the latest operating system for Apple Watch, and it’s packed with exciting upgrades. From a sleek new Liquid Glass design to a smart voice workout coach called Workout Buddy, this update is all about making your Apple Watch more helpful, personal, and fun to use.

A Fresh Look: Liquid Glass Design

watchOS 26 introduces a brand-new Liquid Glass interface — a stylish, semi-transparent design that gives your Apple Watch a modern, futuristic vibe. But it’s not just about looks; the Smart Stack widget system has been enhanced to give you suggestions based on your location, the time of day, and what you’re doing. It’s smarter and more intuitive than ever.

Meet Workout Buddy: Your AI Fitness Coach

One of the standout features in watchOS 26 is Workout Buddy, a personal fitness assistant that talks to you while you work out. It analyzes your heart rate, pace, distance, and workout history to deliver real-time, motivational voice feedback. Imagine your watch saying, “You’ve already run 15 kilometers this week — keep it up!” or cheering you on as you break a personal record.

Even better, the voice isn’t robotic. Apple used generative AI to create a natural-sounding voice inspired by real Fitness+ trainers. Workout Buddy supports all the popular workouts: running, walking, cycling, HIIT, and strength training.

Workout App Gets a Major Redesign

Apple’s native Workout app has also received a big makeover. The interface is more user-friendly with new quick-access buttons for customizing workouts. It even auto-selects music or podcasts from your Apple Music library based on your workout type and listening preferences — so you can stay in the zone with the right vibe.

Live Translation in Messages

Texting just got smarter with live translation in the Messages app. Incoming and outgoing messages can now be automatically translated right on your Apple Watch screen. For English-speaking users, Apple has added intelligent suggestions, like sharing your location or sending money via Apple Cash, based on the conversation context.

Gesture Controls for Easier Navigation

If you own an Apple Watch Series 9, Series 10, or Ultra 2, you’ll get access to a new wrist gesture control. A simple flick of the wrist can dismiss calls, silence alarms, or clear notifications. There's also a new smart volume feature that adjusts based on ambient noise — loud enough for you to hear, but quiet enough not to disturb others around you.

More Handy Features

watchOS 26 also includes a bunch of smaller (but useful) updates:

  • Notes App: Create and edit notes directly on your watch.

  • Hold Assist: Alerts you when a human picks up on a call you’ve been holding for.

  • Call Screening: Helps you filter calls from unknown numbers, so you can avoid spam more easily.

Device Compatibility and Release Date

watchOS 26 will roll out this fall and will be available for:

  • Apple Watch Series 6 and newer

  • Apple Watch SE (2nd generation)

  • All Apple Watch Ultra models

Just make sure your watch is paired with an iPhone 11 or later.

Apple also announced other major updates alongside watchOS 26, including macOS Tahoe 26, iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and a brand-new Games service that lets you play with friends.
