President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, attended the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit held at the International Congress Centre in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, on Monday, October 13, 2025. This high-level meeting brought together world leaders to witness the signing of the peace agreement and the end of the Gaza war—a significant step toward stability and renewed hope in the Middle East.
Upon his arrival at the venue, President Prabowo was warmly welcomed by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. The two leaders exchanged greetings and a firm handshake before Prabowo was escorted to the main waiting lounge.
Inside the room, the atmosphere was filled with a strong sense of unity and hope for peace. President Prabowo interacted with several world leaders attending the summit, reflecting Indonesia’s active role in supporting global efforts to create a more peaceful and humane world.
After the initial meeting, all heads of state participated in a group photo session. Before the main photo session, each leader had the opportunity to take a personal photo with U.S. President Donald Trump, who served as the Co-Chair of the peace summit. During their photo session, President Prabowo and President Trump exchanged friendly remarks, highlighting mutual respect and diplomatic cooperation between the two nations.
In the main group photo, President Prabowo stood in the front row, positioned between French President Emmanuel Macron and UAE Vice President Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The formation symbolized a strong sense of global solidarity and collective commitment to peace in the Middle East.
Following the photo session, world leaders moved to the main hall to witness the signing ceremony of the Gaza peace document. The historic agreement was signed by U.S. President Donald Trump, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
