In a busy city like Jakarta, time is incredibly valuable. Many people still think that handling land administration is complicated and time-consuming because it often means visiting the Land Office (Kantah) and moving from one counter to another.
But now, that hassle is a thing of the past thanks to the Sentuh Tanahku app, launched by the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN). Through this app, citizens can easily access various land-related services directly from their smartphones—no need to leave their daily routines or visit the office.
One Jakarta Barat resident, Fitria, shared her experience using the app when she needed to process her land certificate.
“After I downloaded the Sentuh Tanahku app, it really helped a lot. I could monitor my document process without going back and forth to the BPN office. I just opened the app to see the progress, and once it was done, I got a notification saying ‘completed, please pick up,’” Fitria said on Thursday (October 30, 2025).
At first, Fitria went to the West Jakarta Land Office only to ask about the requirements for upgrading land ownership rights. It was there that she learned about the app that could make things easier.
“After I submitted all the necessary documents, the BPN officer suggested that I download Sentuh Tanahku. Then I started exploring its features,” she added.
From that point on, Fitria began using several features in the app—such as the ‘My Certificate’ feature to check her Electronic Certificate information, and the ‘Online Queue’ feature, which helped her shorten waiting times when visiting the BPN office.
“I really hope the app and its services keep improving so people can handle their land affairs faster and without long waits,” she hoped.
Fitria’s experience shows how Sentuh Tanahku truly brings convenience to managing land affairs in today’s fast-paced urban life. This app stands as a modern innovation that makes land administration simpler, quicker, and more efficient, saving people valuable time and effort.
