| Chasing Down Corrupt Assets! Pontianak District Prosecutor’s Office Seizes 7 Luxury Properties Owned by Fugitive Convict Wendy, Worth Billions of Rupiah. |
𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗞 — This firm action follows the P-48A Order issued by the Head of the Pontianak District Prosecutor’s Office, Agus Eko Purnomo, S.H., M.Hum., to execute the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia’s Decision No. 48 K/Pid.Sus/2024 dated January 18, 2024. Monday, December 1, 2025.
The Pontianak District Prosecutor’s Office has shown its resolve in recovering state losses caused by corruption. Between December 1 and 2, 2025, a special team led by Head of the Special Crime Division (Kasi Pidsus), Salomo Saing, S.H., M.H., installed seven execution seizure boards on properties belonging to convicted fugitive Wendy, also known as Asia, daughter of Moni.
The Indonesian Supreme Court handed down a heavy sentence against Wendy: 8 years in prison, a fine of Rp300 million, and most importantly, an additional penalty requiring her to pay replacement money amounting to Rp14,182,333,020.
The execution seizure is a crucial step to ensure the state can recover its losses through the sale of these assets.
“The main goal of this execution seizure is to restore state finances through the payment of replacement money. We want to make sure that perpetrators of corruption cannot enjoy the proceeds of their crimes,” stated officials from the Pontianak District Prosecutor’s Office.
Following an intensive asset-tracing operation, the Pontianak Prosecutor’s Office successfully seized seven plots of land and buildings located in several prime areas across Pontianak, including:
-
2 plots with buildings on Jalan Purnama I, Gang Purnama Griya I
-
1 plot on Jalan Johar
-
2 plots with buildings on Jalan Purnama I, Gang Perintis 5
-
1 plot with a building on Jalan Purnama I, Gang Perintis 5
-
2 plots with buildings on Jalan Purnama, Gang Griya Purnama
-
1 plot on Jalan Purnama Permai 2
Kasi Pidsus will now complete all asset documentation before handing it over to the Head of Asset Management (Kasi PAPBB) at the Pontianak Prosecutor’s Office. This step ensures that every item included in the upcoming auction is legally valid and properly processed, with involvement from the Asset Recovery Subdivision of the West Kalimantan High Prosecutor’s Office.
The Pontianak District Prosecutor’s Office is sending a strong message to corrupt individuals: the law will track you down to your very last asset. Although Wendy remains on the wanted list (DPO), efforts to enforce the law and recover state assets continue without compromise.
