Trump Says US Has Won Many Things Against Iran But Not Enough

Trump says the US has already won in many ways against Iran but not enough, while claiming Tehran had prepared a large missile attack targeting the Middle East and Israel.

U.S. President Donald Trump said the United States has already achieved several victories over Iran, but emphasized that the results are still not enough to fully eliminate what he described as a long-standing threat.

Speaking during an address in Florida on Monday, Trump said the United States is now “more determined than ever” to pursue what he called an “absolute victory” over Iran. He noted that tensions between the two countries have lasted for roughly 47 years.

Trump stated that the United States has already won in many aspects of its confrontation with Iran. However, he stressed that those achievements have not yet fully ended the dangers he believes originate from Tehran.

“We have already won in many ways, but we have not won enough,” Trump said during the speech.

According to him, the United States will continue moving forward with stronger determination to achieve a decisive outcome. Trump added that the global situation might have been different if earlier U.S. administrations had taken stronger action against Iran.

Trump also claimed that Iran had been preparing a large-scale missile attack targeting the United States, Israel, and countries across the Middle East.

He argued that Iran possesses far more missiles than many observers previously estimated and suggested the country had been preparing for potential strikes in the near future.

Trump further alleged that several Iranian missiles were aimed toward regional states such as Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. He said this indicated what he described as Iran’s ambition to expand its influence across the region.

The U.S. president also raised concerns about the possibility of Iran possessing nuclear weapons. He said that if Iran had such capabilities, it would likely use them against Israel.

“I think they want to control the Middle East. If they had nuclear weapons, they would have used them on Israel,” Trump said.

Trump’s remarks highlight the continuing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East involving the United States and Iran. Issues surrounding regional security, Iran’s nuclear program, and the potential for military escalation remain central concerns in relations between the two countries.

In that context, Trump reiterated that the United States will continue taking steps it considers necessary to protect national interests and its allies in the region.
