PONTIANAK -- As part of the countdown to the 79th Bhayangkara Day on July 1, 2025, Pontianak City Police (Polresta Pontianak) organized a large-scale cleanup activity at their headquarters and nearby places of worship on Saturday, June 14, 2025.
This community-focused initiative was led directly by Deputy Police Chief AKBP Hendrawan, S.I.K., M.H., and was fully supported by the main officials and personnel of Polresta Pontianak. Everyone came together, rolled up their sleeves, and worked hand in hand to clean the premises—proving that unity starts with action.
Deputy Chief Hendrawan shared that this activity is not just symbolic, but an important part of the 79th Bhayangkara Day celebration. More than just tidying up, it reflects the police force’s commitment to fostering a cleaner, healthier, and more comfortable working and worship environment.
“We want to instill values of unity and the spirit of teamwork among our members. Through this activity, we aim to maintain a clean and healthy environment—both around the police headquarters and the surrounding religious facilities,” he said.
During the cleanup, officers were seen enthusiastically sweeping courtyards, trimming gardens, wiping down service areas, and cleaning the mosque within the Mapolresta complex. The energy was positive, and the sense of togetherness was undeniable.
