ATR/BPN Boosts Public Transparency: Digital Informational Content to Make Public Access Easier.

Jakarta – The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) continues to strengthen its commitment to providing open and easily accessible public information. Through various digital and informative content, ATR/BPN ensures that the public receives credible and reliable updates related to land affairs and spatial planning.

Deputy Minister of ATR/Deputy Head of BPN, Ossy Dermawan, explained that delivering information through digital platforms is one of the most effective ways to reach a wide audience. Not only is it fast, but the public can also receive important updates in real time.

“With digital content, everything related to PPID, the Public Relations Bureau, service programs, and ATR/BPN’s digital innovations can be communicated quickly and clearly to the public,” said Deputy Minister Ossy after participating in the Public Test presentation of the 2025 Public Information Disclosure Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) conducted by the Central Information Commission in Jakarta, Wednesday (11/19/2025).

Hundreds of Information Requests, Mostly About Service SOPs

Data from the ATR/BPN’s Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID) recorded 692 information requests from both central and regional units as of November 14, 2025. Interestingly, more than 53 percent of these requests were related to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for land services.

With this increasing demand, ATR/BPN strives to present information in a way that is simple, easy to understand, and friendly for everyday readers.

Various Digital Content to Educate the Public

Some of ATR/BPN’s highlighted digital content includes:

  • PRODUKTIF (Production of Informative Content)
Provides concise, clear, and reliable information on land and spatial matters.

  • SAMSON (Saatnya Menjawab Suara Online)
Interactive content where ATR/BPN officials answer questions submitted by netizens on the ministry’s official social media accounts.

  • Tangkal Hoaks (Countering Hoaxes)
Aimed at clarifying misleading narratives that often circulate online.

In addition to digital content, ATR/BPN also offers a WhatsApp Hotline Complaint Service, which has become a favorite among the public. Using a single, integrated number that connects central offices to regional units, this service makes it easier for citizens to submit complaints without confusion.

“This WhatsApp Hotline is a favorite because people can directly connect with service units at both central and regional levels,” said Deputy Minister Ossy.

PPID Encouraged to Follow Public Information Regulations

Deputy Minister Ossy also reminded all PPID officers—both at the central and regional levels—to consistently follow regulations related to public information services, such as Law No. 14/2008 on Public Information Disclosure and Ministerial Regulation ATR/BPN No. 32/2021 on Public Information Services.

He emphasized the importance of understanding these regulations to avoid uncertainty when serving the public.

“PPID officers must always know which information must be disclosed and which must remain classified. Access to public information is a basic right of every citizen,” he stressed.

During the Public Test presentation, Deputy Minister Ossy was accompanied by the Minister’s Expert Staff for Public Administration and Good Governance Ajie Arifuddin, Head of Public Information and Community Complaints Adhi Maskawan, and Head of News, Media, and Inter-Agency Relations Bagas Agung Wibowo, along with several members of the ATR/BPN Public Relations and Protocol Bureau.
