People confirmed the joyful update, sharing that the pair is now enjoying their early days as new parents.
A Sweet Journey Toward Meeting Their Daughter
Back in June, Anneliese and Johnno announced they were expecting their first child. In a statement to People, Anneliese expressed just how thrilled she was when she learned the baby’s gender.
“We’re having a girl! I have two sisters, so it feels incredibly special to welcome another girl into our sisterhood,” she shared with excitement.
Their gender reveal moment was especially memorable. Johnno hit a golf ball that burst into a cloud of pink powder, and that simple moment made Anneliese realize what her heart truly wanted.
“I didn’t know how much I wanted a girl until that swing and the pink powder appeared,” she recalled.
Proud to Welcome a Strong Baby Girl
Although health was the top priority, Anneliese admitted there’s a special pride in raising a daughter in today’s world.
“Of course, you always hope for a healthy baby, and a boy would have been exciting too. But having a girl in this time… it just makes me so proud,” she said.
She added that she doesn’t have strict expectations for her daughter’s future. “I don’t need her to be a performer or a doctor… but she WILL grow up to be a feminist.”
From ‘We’re Not Having Kids’ to a Complete Change of Heart
Interestingly, the couple once agreed that having kids wasn’t part of their plan. According to Anneliese, they wanted to focus on their careers and traveling together.
“We were that couple who said we would never have kids. Early in our relationship, we realized we had something amazing, so we talked about it and agreed to just focus on work and travel. But it’s so important to check in with each other every few years,” she explained.
A New Chapter Just Months After Their Wedding
The pregnancy announcement came only six months after the pair tied the knot at the Santa Barbara courthouse. Soon after, Anneliese proudly showed off her baby bump at Babylist Beverly Hills, where they tested strollers, carriers, and diaper bags in preparation for their little one.
Now, Anneliese and Johnno are embracing the beautiful chaos of parenthood — a new beginning filled with joy, learning, and unconditional love.
